Description
Varistor modules MWV are available with 3 or 8 individual,
independent varistors. Alternatively they are available with 5 or 14 varistors
with a common return lead.
These modules have three important fields of application:
- Voltage regulation and voltage limiting
- Reactive switching energy absorption and arc quenching
- Voltage surge protection (limiting voltage spikes on power grids caused by
lightning, reactive switching etc)
Our modules use zinc oxide varistors.
