Description

Relay module MRPC is smaller than types MRPA and MRPB. It is recommended where space is limited and requirements for closing/continuous current ratings and switching capacities are lower. The module may be equipped with 1, 2, 4, or 16 relays. Each relay, both plug-in and solder type, has DPDT contacts. For DC operation, a diode in series with the operating current prevents operation when incorrect polarities are applied. An LED shows relay operating status, and a diode across the coil protects the circuits from reverse voltage. The positive operating modules employ a negative bus, whereas the negative operating modules use a positive bus. In the case of AC operation, diodes are omitted. Best switching characteristics are obtained when mounted with the input side downward, or in a horizontal plane.
