Extrusion and End Plates
Series M-513 empty module housings supplement the existing series
M-512. Module design flexibility is provided through a bulk length extrusion
which allows tailoring to any practical module size. The end plates are
fastened by two screws. Standard extrusions have a length of 2 meter / 78.7
inches and may be cut to any desired length. Pre cut lengths, to customer
requirements, are also offered.
The width is 76 mm / 3.00 in., the same as that of width 01 of the M-512
series. It is intended for 72 mm / 2.84 in. printed circuit boards. The circuit
board length is calculated by adding 3 mm / 0.12 in. to the extrusion length,
to allow for the end plates.
Mounting feet
Series M-513 module housings are equipped with M-512 mounting feet.
The mounting feet slide into the extrusion and snap into the side panels,
resulting in a rugged assembly. The feet are designed for all standard DIN EN
50 022, 50035 and 50045 mounting rails.
