Air Filtration Fan FilterMedia
The foam filter used in the plastic fan filter assemblies isideal for many filtration applications. It is completely safe to handle. It isnon-allergenic, non-toxic and resistant to most common detergents andsolvents.
Pore Size Available in 30, 45, 60 and 100 ppi (average number of pores-per-linear-inch).The range of ppi provides an open cell with little air restriction to afine-celled foam for maximum particulate filtration. Thickness Flammability Classification |
Poly/Cotton Fiber Media |
Another choice for particulate filtration is the non-wovenfiber media designated as B. It is a blend of polyester and cottonfibers that have been chemically bonded with ethylene vinyl chloride/poly vinylacetate. The filter media provides excellent filtration and the air pressuredrop will vary with size of filter and rate of CFM. This media is available onthe FF 60, 80, 92, 120 and 127 mm fan filter assemblies. (Not available on theFF-SC series.) It is rated as Class 2. |
Aluminum Screen Mesh |
When no particulate filtration is required, a screen wire canbe used in the fan filter assembly that will allow maximum air flow. The 1618screen wire is the most porous. The 3030 screen wire provides some filtrationof larger particulates such as lint. The screen wire is easily cleaned withwater and/or detergents. (Not available on FF-SC series.) |
