SW-SWX

SW and SWX filtration media iseither flat or corrugated wire cloth. SW is made up of all woven aluminum wire.SWX is made up of face grids of expanded aluminum and an inner layer of wovenaluminum wire. Both are encapsulated in a one piece aluminum frame secured byan aluminum blind rivet.

Applications
The SW and SWX have become an industry standard for durability and efficiency.This permanent washable filter offers relatively low resistance and highefficiencies at high velocities. The SW and SWX can be found in electroniccabinets, forced air heaters, electrostatic air cleaners and many moreapplications. This filter has been in use for more than 30 years and is stillan excellent choice for a filter to remove large particles and stands up tocleaning year after year.

EXMET

EXMET filtration media consistsof layers of slit and expanded aluminum. Inner layers incorporate aluminum foiland grids of expanded aluminum which are corrugated together. Face grids areheavy expanded aluminum. Frame is miter cornered aluminum channel and securedby an aluminum blind rivet.

Application
This type of panel pre-filter is particularly suitable in applications wherefrequent servicing and rough handling may occur. Low resistance and heavy dutyconstruction make the EXMET an excellent roughing filter where ease of cleaningis necessary. Frequent washings do not affect the media. EXMET filters arecommonly used in air handling units and ahead of bag filter banks whereextended media filters offer too much pressure drop.

FOILX

FOILX air filters are composedof aluminum foil that has been slit and expanded. The filtration media for thisfilter consists of either eight layers of flat expanded foil or six layers ofcorrugated expanded foil, depending on frame thickness. The face grids areexpanded aluminum. Frame is a miter cornered aluminum channel secured by analuminum blind rivet.

Applications
The FOILX is excellent as a roughing filter where ease of cleaning isnecessary. This filter is commonly used in electronic equipment, package airconditioning units, home heating and air conditioning central units and kitchenrange hoods.

FOAMX

FOAMX filtration media is fullyreticulated polyester-polyurethane or polyether urethane filter foam. The facegrids are expanded aluminum. Enclosing the foam and grids is an aluminum mitercornered frame with an aluminum blind rivet.

Applications
The FOAMX has a wide variety of uses because of the porosities available in thefoam. The foam can be from 10 to 100 pores per linear inch (PPI). Thisdramatically affects the air flow. As the PPI increases, so does the airresistance. This type of filter is typically used in engine breathers, oil misteliminators, muffin fan filters, and on electronic cabinets. The filter is notonly effective but is also aesthetically pleasing with the black foam and thealuminum frame. These filters can be mounted on the front of many electroniccabinets as an appealing visual accent in addition to their functionality.

TECHX

TECHX filtration media is amixture of polypropylene and modacrylic fibers. The exchange of electric chargebetween these dissimilar materials produces stable electric charges. Thiscreates a greatly improved filtration media to trap fine particles. This media,corrugated together with expanded metal, makes up the inner layers of thisfilter. The face grids are made of heavy expanded aluminum held by a one piecemitered corner aluminum frame held by an aluminum blind rivet.

Applications
The TECHX filter exhibits excellent efficiencies and low resistance. This mediahas been used for respirators, room air purifiers and in the automotiveindustry for recirculating filters for cars. POLYX

The polyester is manufactured using advancedtechnology air laid equipment. This process produces a media of high quality,uniformity, and excellent filtration performance.

Application
POLYX filters are frequently used in electronic cabinets where blowers aredrawing air from the floor level or cabinets which are located in an officeenvironment.
