Description
Relay module MRPA may be equipped with 1, 4, 8, or 16 relays.
Each relay, either the plug-in or solder type, has SPDT contacts. For DC
operation, a diode in series with the operating current prevents operation when
incorrect polarities are applied. An LED shows relay operating status, and a
diode across the coil protects the circuits from reverse voltage. The positive
operating modules employ a negative bus, whereas the negative operating modules
use a positive bus. In the case of AC operation, diodes are omitted. Best
switching characteristics are obtained when mounted with the input side
downward, or in a horizontal plane.
