Description
|
|
| The steatite base of the Series 107 meets the most
stringent requirements with respect to dielectric strength and temperature
resistance. The buttress-headed slotted posts are securely fastened to the base
to prevent rotation during tightening; posts for versions 1070-1073 are
riveted.
The two mounting holes are recessed; a washer is cemented to the square or
hexagonal recess to prevent twisting of the block. This design meets the
installation requirements of DIN 46295 for reliable fastening of the terminal
board to the motor. The use of DIN 84 cheese head screws and DIN 7980 lock
washers (not provided) is recommended to secure the terminal board to the
motor. The board should be shimmed to compensate for irregularities in the
motor mounting area. Care should be taken to prevent over-tightening of the
securing nuts.
