Brady IP™ enabled ribbons have a Smart Cell RFID tag, which allows the ribbons to communicate with the Brady IP™Industrial Label Printer. When the ribbon is loaded, the Smart Cell information is automatically sent to the printer and software. The Brady IP™ Industrial Label Printer status monitor shows the printer and material information on the user's PC. Brady IP™ Industrial Label Printer ribbons operate with full benefit of the hassle-free functionality of Brady Mode, allowing ease of use.
